Quinn is the newest employee at Special-T and has been learning everything she can about the production side of the industry from professionals who have worked in the industry for over 30 years. She especially likes the hands-on aspect, as well as seeing projects come together.
In her free time, Quinn enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs. She also spends time working in her art studio and is active in the local art scene. Quinn enjoys yoga, meditation, a good book, and spending time in nature.
President, Founder, Fearless Leader
When Tim founded Special-T Signs in 1979 the business entailed mostly striping cars at the local dealerships. Since then the business has evolved from striping cars and hand painted signage to high definition digital printed graphics. The changes he has seen in the industry with size of the jobs and what can be achieved has been amazing, from wrapping of any size vehicle to covering interior walls with beautiful picture perfect graphics and lettering. He is excited to see what changes are still to come in the industry, and he is certain that Special-T will continue grow along with it.
Tim feels blessed to have three sons and three grandchildren. His favorite activities are boating in the San Juans, watersports on Lake Whatcom and snow skiing at the local mountains. He is also active in the Whatcom Chamber of Commerce, The Building Industry Association and The Bellingham Connections Group.
Special-T is Dave’s family’s business, and he’s been around the industry as long as he can remember. He’s worked in every aspect of the business, and now he trains Special-T employees to be the best sign makers around. He has a BA from Hawaii Pacific University and continues to be active with community groups such as the Chamber of Commerce.
Married with no children, he and his wife enjoy traveling domestically and abroad. They love living in the Northwest with all it has to offer, from snow skiing in the mountains to boating around the San Juan Islands. Any given day you may find him walking their dog, fishing on their boat, refereeing high school football games, or flying in an airborne mission for the Civil Air Patrol.
Sales / Account Executive
Brandon is the “starting line” for our sales program. He enjoys working with customers to find the best solution for their signage needs, and he enjoys staying knowledgable and up-to-date on new products. It’s his goal to get the customer a fair price and a great product. Though he gives it his all when he is at work, at home it’s evident that his wife and their dogs are the most important things in his life. They have two boxers who are beyond spoiled. If Brandon is not spending time with them, he is either watching or playing sports, or is working out. Originally from Olympia, WA, he graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2011 with a major in communications & journalism. He moved to Bellingham in 2011 and has loved it here ever since.
Lead Graphic Designer
With eight years of production art and graphic design experience, Dana’s skill set includes creating quality designs quickly and efficiently. She enjoys working with a team to provide customers with a design and product that they are happy with.
On her time off, Dana promotes her passion about the nutrition and power of foods as nature has provided them. If she’s not on a hike with her husband and their dog, you’ll find her either working in their organic garden or in their kitchen preparing vegan raw foods.
With 15 years of installation experience we were proud to have Edward join our team last year. He grew up in California an army brat, enlisted himself in the army for 4 years, then moved to Texas where he lived for 20 years. New to the Bellingham area, we are sure he is going to enjoy the camping and fishing that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. He also enjoys playing & watching sports and hanging out with his wife, daughter, 2 sons and 6 grandkids!
“Special-T has been providing high-quality graphics and service to Alpha and OutBack for over 8 years. We use them exclusively for our trade show graphics, building signs, posters, banners and more. We love being able to support a small, local business and appreciate the level of excellence and professionalism that Special-T brings to the table.”
